Profiteers are unrestrained as chicken prices in some regions of the country surpass Rs700

As the government fails to restrain profiteers, chicken prices have risen to Rs700 per kilogramme in some regions of the country.

According to data, the price has risen to Rs700 in Quetta after a Rs200 increase, Rs600 in Karachi after a Rs150 increase, and Rs458 in Lahore per kg.

Meanwhile, since the Food Department failed to create a strategy, the price of flour has risen, with a 10kg flour bag costing Rs100 more in Punjab.

After the Ramazan bundle expired, prices of other consumables increased at Utility Stores.
