According to individuals familiar with the situation, Pakistan outlined their intention to raise gas prices during negotiations with the IMF, as well as ideas to limit petrol subsidies to the poor. During the discussions, it was addressed how to decrease electricity losses. There was also talk on a staged strategy to raising the cost of power.
