On Saturday, the price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs450 and was sold at Rs132,800, up from Rs132,350 in the local market.
The price of 10 gramme 24 karat gold jumped by Rs386 and was sold for Rs113, 855, up from Rs113, 469, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, while the price of 22 carat gold increased to Rs104,367, up from Rs104,013.
The per-tola and per-ten-gram silver prices stayed steady at Rs 1500 and Rs 1286, respectively.
According to the association, the price of gold jumped by $2 on the worldwide market, reaching $1884 compared to $1882.
