The Supreme Court of Pakistan has scheduled a hearing for the in-chamber appeal to remove the contempt suit filed against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
The in-chamber appeal will be heard on July 31 by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial.
Lawyer Riaz Hanif Rahi filed a contempt of court case against Justice Isa for overseeing the investigation commission’s activities.
However, the SC Registrar’s Office objected to the application.
Riaz Hanif Rahi later filed an in-chamber appeal against the Registrar’s Office’s objections.
