On Saturday, the Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan held its second convocation. Degrees and gold medals were given to the graduating students during the ceremony.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Haji Ghulam Ali, who served as the ceremony’s principal guest, as well as Dr. Riaz Anwar, the college’s dean, Dr. Amjad Ali, the caretaker provincial cabinet’s health advisor, and other prominent faculty members were present.
Between 2017 and 2021, 450 students who have finished their studies at Bacha Khan Medical College were awarded degrees by Governor Ghulam Ali. 53 pupils also received gold awards for their outstanding accomplishments.
Dr. Nabila Bibi, a 2019 graduate who won 20 gold medals for her work throughout her five-year MBBS programme, was one noteworthy honoree. Dr. Nabila Bibi, a native of Mansehra’s Chatrapalan village, thanked her parents and relatives for their support and prayers.
Rukhshanda Afsar, who got 19 gold medals during the convocation, was another outstanding graduate. Dr. Rukhshanda Afsar, who hails from Abbottabad and is a student in the cardiology programme at Ayub Medical College, credited her parents’ prayers and her own diligence for her accomplishment.
During the occasion, Governor Ghulam Ali greeted the parents of the successful kids and made a noteworthy news about the Bacha Khan Dental College, which announced free education for students with disabilities.
