KARACHI, (Web Desk) – Sajal Aly, a well-known Pakistani actor, has spoken out against child and domestic labor.

In her video message, the Angan star advised everyone to report child labor cases to the appropriate authorities because it is entirely illegal.

Days after the wife of Judge Asim Hafeez was accused of violently beating a 14-year-old domestic servant in Islamabad, Sajal Aly put out a sincere call to safeguard minors from being forced to perform labor.

“Please, for the love of God, stop torturing small children and forcing them to work or perform labor.” It is incorrect. Child labor is unethical. “It is against all labor laws,” she stated.

She urged everyone to quickly report child labor to local authorities.

The Sinf-e-Ahan actress stated that the public must band together to put pressure on the government and safeguard youngsters.

It is their age to have fun and learn. It is no longer the age of manual labor, she noted.

Senior actress Nadia Jamil also shared Sajal’s video message, along with a strongly worded statement condemning child abuse.

“The problem is we often don’t know a child is being kept as a servant/slave in a house, so there is no way to know if the child is ok, are they providing him/her with an education?” Nadia commented on Twitter.

“You and I are both aware of the reality. These young children are frequently forced to carry affluent babies, clean rich people’s houses, and serve them.

“They are beaten, starved, and denied an education!” An education is both a constitutional and a religious right for them.

“Remember, it is not the job of innocent children to alleviate poverty.” It is illegal to rob children of their youth. Too many of our youngsters are suffering. Too many.

Let us all work together to find a solution. Please. Please speak up and report those who force children to labor for them.”

She also praised Sajal for having a strong civic sensibility.
