All unlawful housing societies and housing projects are barred from promoting their enterprises and projects on digital and social media platforms, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
It will also take legal action against any housing projects or societies that advertise on social media sites without the relevant regulator’s No Objection Certificate (NOC).
The PTA issued this warning after being contacted by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) in response to the Lahore High Court’s judgement on March 30 in a written appeal regarding the management of unlawful housing society marketing on digital and social media.
