ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The price of 24 carat per tola gold increased by Rs 750 and was sold for Rs 131,000 on Wednesday, up from Rs 130,450 the previous day on the local market.

The price of a gramme of 24 karat gold climbed by Rs643 to Rs 112,483 from Rs111,840, while the price of a gramme of 22 karat gold jumped to Rs 103,109 from Rs 102,520, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The per tola and ten gramme silver prices stayed stable at Rs1500 and Rs1286, respectively.

According to the organisation, the price of gold in the international market climbed by $27 and was exchanged at US$1927 compared to its sale price of US$ 1900.
