ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The World Bank granted a $190 million loan assistance for Pakistan on Wednesday.
The World Bank will discuss ways to increase the country’s electrical generation and will give loans. Furthermore, the contract was signed in the federal city.
Asad Hayauddin, a top federal government executive, and Anjum Ahmad, a World Bank Manager, signed the deal.
The agreement was also signed by representatives from HESCO, HEPCO, and PESCO. It is also worth noting that the agreement will play an important role in formulating the National Electricity Policy 2021.
