ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (APP) – According to recent statistics issued by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), automobile sales increased by 71% during the first four months of the current fiscal year 2021-22 (July-October) compared to the same time previous year.
According to the data, 74,952 automobiles were sold during the time period under consideration, compared to 43,865 units during the same period the previous year.
In October, the country’s automobile sales surged by 45 percent year over year when compared to the same month the previous year.
In October, automobile sales increased to 17,413 units, up from 11,997 units in the same month the previous year.
Meanwhile, motorcycle sales increased by 0.55 percent to 628,242 units in the first four months of fiscal year 2021-22, compared to 624,818 units in the same time the previous year.
