ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (APP) – Shaukat Tarin, the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, spoke about the government’s efforts to ensure economic improvement and development on Monday.

According to a news release released by the finance ministry, the federal minister noted during a meeting with Chairman of Pak Kuwait Investment Company, Mohammad A. M. Al-Fares, that these actions have enhanced the country’s overall economic picture.

He informed the visiting dignitary on the economic bottlenecks that plagued Pakistan’s economy during the Covid-19 crisis. Pak-Kuwait Investment Company’s investment and development banking initiatives were praised by the Finance Minister.

He noted that the joint venture between the governments of Pakistan and Kuwait is playing an important role in fostering industrial activities in many sectors of the economy.

Kuwait’s bilateral relations with Pakistan are very important to Mohammad A. M. Al-Fares, according to the statement.

Both parties pledged to strengthen bilateral connections in a variety of areas, including investment, commerce, and business.
