The Pakistani rupee fell 21 paisas against the US dollar in interbank trade on Monday, according to the State Bank of Pakistan, concluding at Rs177.62 against a previous day’s close of Rs177.41 (SBP).

The open market purchasing and selling values of the dollar, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan, were Rs 177.60 and Rs 178.50, respectively.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the price of the euro, which was trading at Rs196.91, declined by Rs 1.8 paisas.

The dollar rose 2.1 rupees against the Pound Sterling, concluding at Rs 235.97 per Pound, up from Rs 238.12 at the close of the previous session.
