(Web Desk) – Creators who want to monetize their material may now use the YouTube Partner Programme (YPP).

YouTube has now imposed reduced qualifying requirements. Creators in the United States with more than 20,000 YPP subscribers may now participate in the platform’s retail affiliate programme.

According to the new requirements, artists must have at least 500 subscribers, three public uploads in the previous 90 days, and either 3,000 watch hours or 3 million video views in the last 90 days.

Previously, the standards were more stringent, requiring at least 1,000 members and either 4,000 watch hours in the previous year or 10 million video views in the previous 90 days.

Previously, the world’s leading streaming platform YouTube said that, like individuals in other countries, Pakistanis would be able to earn money via YouTube videos beginning in February 2023.

YouTube Shorts is a new edition of the streaming platform where content providers, similar to TikTok, post short films.

YouTube shorts have grown in popularity over the past year, and YouTube has now added the option to earn money from them.

According to YouTube’s comprehensive policy, content producers making money from YouTube shorts must accept the website’s guidelines, which will require content creators under the age of 18 to include their parents in the consent requirements.

According to YouTube, content providers will be compensated for running advertisements in short videos. Ads will run on YouTube shorts, and content producers will get 45 percent of the advertising revenue. A content producer with one million YouTube shorts views may earn up to $900 USD, however this figure might vary.

Most of YouTube’s monetization restrictions are out of date, however the website for YouTube shorts has said that it will not be able to profit on films that have already been submitted to YouTube, and that no earnings will be generated on videos created by modifying a movie or music clip.
