According to British media, tens of thousands of tickets for England’s Euro 2020 football final are being sold on the black market at record prices.
As the Euro 202 final approaches, English and Italian supporters are racing to black markets for tickets after England won the semi-final match against Denmark on penalties on Thursday.

This is the first time since 1996 that the country has advanced to the final of a major event.
Last week, UEFA’s official website declared that all tickets had sold out, but eager fans have now turned to illicit markets in the hopes of finding seats at even higher rates.

Despite UEFA restrictions prohibiting resale of tickets for more than face value, seats are selling for five figures on secondary ticketing platforms.

The most expensive tickets for Sunday’s game are advertised for 40,000 pounds on the resale website Ticombo, according to the Independent.

Ticket sales for the final match have increased, and there have been several allegations of frauds and phishing.

On Sunday, the Euro Cup final between England and Italy will be held at Wembley Stadium.
